If you’re about to embark on a building or renovating project and don’t know where to start (we’ve been there!) this show is a great place to find expert advice, glean design inspiration and meet trusted specialists. Better still, there are shows throughout the UK this autumn. Oceania at The Royal Academy, London

Oceania at The Royal Academy, London

29 September – 10 December

We travel far and wide to source our beautifully crafted pieces and we’re constantly inspired by the work of artisans we meet on our journeys. So we’re really excited by this exhibition, which marks 250 years since Cook’s maiden voyage to the Pacific and celebrates the narratives of the island civilisations of the region. This exhibition, at London’s Royal Academy, is anchored around the themes of voyaging, place making and encounter and sits firmly on our ‘must-see’ list this autumn.

Nordic Craft and Design at Manchester Art Gallery

Until July 2019

A number of our most popular pieces are influenced by the contemporary, clean lines and natural materials associated with Nordic design, so this ongoing exhibition at Manchester Art Gallery is right up our street. Showcasing furniture, lighting, ceramics and glass, among other items from the 1930s onwards, this fascinating exhibition aims to highlight the quality and creativity of design of the Nordic countries.

Anni Albers at Tate Modern, London

11 October – 27 January

We love the graphic contemporary patterns and bold colours of Anni Albers’ beautiful textiles, so we’re particularly excited about this exhibition at the Tate Modern, dedicated to the German artist. Her designs were ahead of the time and Anni became a major influence on artists across the globe. This exhibition will feature a vast range of her work, from large-scale wall hangings and mass production textiles, to prints and drawings.
