Made from Jute
This rug is crafted from sustainable Jute fibres, which is vegetable-based and incredibly durable and hardwearing material.
Jute is made from a plant that grows in India where our rugs are made. It is sustainable and biodegradable. Compared to other natural materials such as Sisal or Coir, Jute is soft under foot so you can walk comfortably on it without shoes, or sit on it.
Its durable nature makes it suitable for high footfall areas.
You don’t get any pilling on Jute rugs but you will see indentations on the rug where you have placed furniture on top.
