It’s beautifully-crafted from a combination of wool, cotton and just a touch of viscose that makes it hardwearing but irresistibly soft underfoot.
The linear design itself is inspired by the intricacies of Japanese zen gardens, while the neutral colourway features contrasting lines with differing ‘piles’ in matt and sheen finishes.
The Ajit Hand Tufted Rug has a geometrical pattern design which is defined by the colour palette and also sheared into the rug itself for a gorgeous textured finish.

Hand-Tufted Rugs
Hand-tufted rugs are typically the thickest type of rug. Instead of creating knots, loops of yarn are instead pulled through the rug's backing material with a hand-held tool. The loops are then sheared to create a smooth cut-pile surface.
Hand-tufted rugs can shed excess fibres to begin with, and they do require regular cleaning with an upright vacuum cleaner to keep them looking their best.
