I don’t know about you, but I’ve noticed a definite move towards bohemian style and sensibilities this summer. Our tv has been set to record for both ‘Life in Squares’; the new drama about the Bloomsbury group who were renowned for popularising the look, and ‘How to Be Bohemian with Victoria Coren Mitchell’. Romantic and relaxed, Bohemian style is perfect for lazy, late Summer days, but also set to be a key interiors look for 2016. In tribute to the trend and the free-spirited outlook it stands for (because we could probably all do with stressing a little less!), we have taken a look at how to add an element of the blithe bohemian spirit to living spaces.Read More

According to the ancient adage, if rain falls on St Swithun’s Day on 15th July it will continue to do so for the 40 days following. Because the temperamental British weather means this doesn’t bode particularly well for our chances of sunshine in July and beyond, we thought we would take a look at ways to imbue interiors with the spirit of summer through furniture and decoration; guaranteeing sunshine indoors, regardless of the weather outside!

As the warmer weather conjures thoughts of white sandy beaches and palm trees, creating a ‘tropical paradise’ in the home can offer all the atmosphere of sunnier climes, with none of the air miles.
